FORUM RULES: PLEASE READ!

Board-wide Rules and Regulations

1. Registration is required in order to post on this board.

2. Real Names - This is a forum of photographers, there is no reason to hide. Feel free to have your regular online name, business name or other info in your signature.

3. Posts are to be made in a relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting.

4. Keep on topic - You can have off topic discussions via email or PM. Please keep all discussion within the thread on topic

Users should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated.

6. Users should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated.

7. As photographers you are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc.

8. Users should respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. The use of inline image tags pointing to data stored on third party systems for which the user has not received permission to link to may be removed. The same applies in reverse. Do not link to images you have uploaded to this site on another site.

9.
Users should post in a way which is consistent with ?normal writing?. That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or colored text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts.

10. Users should use an appropriate, specific, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include; ?Help me!?, ?I?ve got a question!?, etc.

11. The database of threads is quickly growing and some topics have been covered in depth. If you have a question search the archives first before posting.

12. Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering company services, equipment and supplies, chain letters, etc. Users posting spam will have their post removed without warning.

13. Signatures - Although not a requirement it would be good to list your photographic and computer equipment in your signature. This way it is easier for others to know what gear you use, particularly when you are requesting assistance.
Please keep signature length down to 5 lines. We don't want to see 1 line posts and 15 line signatures.

14. Images posted within threads must be 750px or smaller. This is to be considerate to those on limited internet speed and small monitors.
