Welcome to the Surf Photographers United site.
History:
In the wake of John Mozo’s death at Backdoor a flood of e-mails permeated the surf photography community. Soon a blog was formed that then became the United Surf Photographers International (USPI) forum in 2006. The forum grew to have over 200 members while another similar forum Surf Photographers Forum (SPF) in Australia grew simultaneously. Rather than business SPF’s focus was on the general discussion of surf photography as an art.
The creators of these two forums merged their efforts to bring you Surf Photographers United. Our goal is to foster communication, camaraderie, and community among our ranks. We currently have over 4 hundred members from 13 countries.

Where does this payment go:
All membership payments are used to keep the site up and running. Paying for domain, hosting and bandwidth. Also to purchase and support forum software.
I’m a Past member that let my Membership die (I think).
If you do automatic payments than I still may be good. Please check to see if I am still payed up. If I am still good please send me information as to what my user name is and a link to reset my password. Or a link to re up. Looked like you guys were down for long period time or I was unable to pick you guys up. The site looks a bunch better than before.
